What it does

Water-soluble UVB filter.

Benefits

Lightweight UVB absorber, water-soluble so suits gel and watery textures. Often used to push SPF numbers up cost-effectively.

UVB only — provides little to no UVA protection. Always paired with UVA filters in a balanced formula. Some report mild irritation.
