Vaseline
Deep Moisture Body Lotion with Ceramide & Hyaluron
A capable mineral-oil-and-glycerin body lotion at a bargain price — the ceramide and hyaluron on the label are trace ingredients.
Is Vaseline Deep Moisture worth it for dry skin?
As a budget lotion for dry body skin, yes: mineral oil, glycerin and dimethicone do the real moisturising, at about ₹1.10 a ml. Just do not buy it for the ceramide and hyaluronic acid on the label, which are present only in trace amounts.

Our Take
This is a classic budget body lotion, and a decent one: water, mineral oil, glycerin and dimethicone do the real work, with shea butter and a little petrolatum — the brand's namesake jelly — further down the list. The ceramide and “hyaluron” on the front are another matter: ceramide NP is twenty-fourth of thirty-seven ingredients and all four forms of hyaluronic acid sit after the preservative, so “Ceramide-Hyaluron Moisture Fillers” is a name for trace ingredients rather than a description of what moisturises your skin. The claims do not agree with each other either — the bottle says 48 hours, the newer pack 72 and the listing “up to 100 hours”; the “10X more moisture” is measured against untreated skin while the back label of the same pack says “triples”; and “99% reduction in dryness in 30 minutes” carries no footnote at all. It is also fragranced, with seven declared fragrance allergens, despite Amazon listing it as unscented. At an MRP of ₹649 for 600 ml, about ₹1.10 a ml, it is excellent value for dry body skin in winter, just not the ceramide treatment the label implies.

What buyers report
Recent Amazon reviews are short but consistent: buyers find it properly moisturising for dry skin, particularly in winter, and a few call it light, non-sticky and good value. The scent is noticeable; some like it, but one buyer found it far too strong, unsurprising for a lotion with fragrance and seven declared fragrance allergens despite its unscented listing.
